Plan every port day in just a few taps.
Add your ship and sail date. We load your cruise itinerary and build a personalised plan for every day ashore, then rework it in real time as the weather, the queues and your energy change.

How it works
-
01 Add your ship
Enter your ship and sail date. We load your real itinerary: every port, every all-aboard time.
-
02 Answer a few questions
Who’s with you, how fast you like to move, and what you actually enjoy doing ashore.
-
03 Get your port days planned
A personalised plan for each stop, built around your all-aboard, opening hours, crowds and the forecast.
-
04 Keep shaping it
Swap anything you don’t love. Live recommendations keep the plan current right up to sail-away.
-
05 Get nudged in time
Reminders when it’s time to book tickets, tables and shows, plus a heads-up on festivals, strikes and closures.
-
06 On the day, just follow it
Map, timings and walking directions in your hand. Works with no signal at all.
-
07 Raining? Hungry? Done in?
Tell it how you feel and the rest of the day replans in one tap.
And a concierge who knows the port
Ask anything in plain words. Answers come from our own on-the-ground research, cruiser reports and what locals are posting this week, filtered by where you’re standing and who’s with you.
Is the cable car worth it with a 6-year-old?
Yes, but go now, not after 14:00 when three ships are in. 4 min queue right now, 25 min later. I can move your walls slot to 15:30 to fit it in.
-
Forward a ticket, we file it
Any confirmation email (museum, excursion, transfer) lands in the right day, ready offline.
-
Meals worth the calories
Local favourites near where you’ll actually be, and the one dish to order there.
-
Works with zero signal
Your whole day, maps and passes cached before you step off the ship.
Your next sailing, planned port by port. Ask for an invitation.
Questions, answered
Who can use ShoreReady?
For now, ShoreReady is available on iPhone and iPad by invitation. The app is currently in beta, with ports and sailings opening in batches.
Join the waitlist on this page and you’ll get an email as soon as your spot is ready.
How does ShoreReady guide me once I’m off the ship?
Step by step, like a friend who already knows the port.
ShoreReady gives you a map and clear directions to every stop, along with the stories, tips and details worth knowing when you get there, all picked around what you actually enjoy.
It tells you how to reach the next place, whether that’s a ten-minute walk, the metro or a taxi, and keeps your tickets and reservations ready when you need them.
Tired, hungry or suddenly caught in the rain? Tell ShoreReady and the rest of your day can be adjusted in a tap, even without a signal.
Could ShoreReady make me miss all aboard?
Getting you back to the ship on time is one of ShoreReady’s most important jobs.
Every plan is built backwards from your all-aboard time, with extra margin included. ShoreReady considers how far you are from the ship, how reliable local transportation is, and whether a particular port requires more caution.
As the day changes, ShoreReady can adjust the plan and remind you when it’s time to start heading back, ideally with enough time left for a cocktail before sailaway.
And some ports simply aren’t great candidates for DIY exploring. When the timing, distance or local conditions make an independent day too risky, ShoreReady will say so and recommend safer alternatives such as a ship excursion, licensed tour or private driver.
The final call is always yours. ShoreReady’s job is to help you make it with the best information available.
Will ShoreReady recommend restaurants?
Yes, including what to order when you get there.
Restaurant recommendations combine ShoreReady’s curated database with current local information, traveller feedback and highly rated places across the web. They’re then filtered around your tastes, your group and where you’ll actually be during the day.
Instead of giving you a list of the “20 best restaurants in town,” ShoreReady focuses on the places that make sense when you’re hungry and where you’re standing.
Can I use ShoreReady without roaming or a signal?
Yes. The important parts of your port day can be downloaded before you leave the ship, including your itinerary, maps, walking directions, tickets and passes.
Your plan can also be adjusted offline around things like your energy level or a change of plans.
Features that depend on live information or the concierge require an internet connection, so those updates will resume once you’re back online or connected to Wi-Fi.
Will my plan stay up to date until my sail date?
Yes. ShoreReady keeps checking your sailing for changes that could affect your day, such as attraction closures, transportation disruptions or schedule changes.
It also looks for the good stuff: festivals, local markets, seasonal events and newly popular places that might be worth adding to your day.
As your cruise gets closer, weather information is added too, helping you decide what to pack and what to bring ashore.
Does ShoreReady use AI? Why not just ask ChatGPT?
Yes, ShoreReady uses AI, but AI isn’t the source of truth.
General-purpose AI tools can sometimes provide incomplete, outdated or incorrect travel information. That matters when your ship leaves at 5:00 PM whether you’re there or not.
ShoreReady has partnered with CanIDoThisPort.com, giving the system access to its extensive and reliable global knowledge base of cruise ports, transportation, local logistics and independent port-day planning. That information is strengthened by a network of locals around the world who provide valuable, on-the-ground insights about their destinations, from practical transport details to the things visitors are most likely to miss.
AI helps ShoreReady understand you: what you enjoy, how you like to travel and what kind of day you want, then match that to the right options.
The result is less “ask an AI what to do in Naples” and more “build the right Naples port day for me.”
Why not just book the ship excursions?
Sometimes you should, and ShoreReady will tell you when.
Ship excursions can be a great choice when a port is far from the main sights, transportation is unreliable or timing is especially tight.
But in many ports, exploring independently can be cheaper, more flexible and much more personal. No waiting for forty people to get back on the bus.
ShoreReady starts by looking for the best way to experience the port on your own. If an organised tour, ship excursion or private driver makes more sense for your day, it will recommend that instead.
Will ShoreReady book my museum tickets or excursions?
Not directly.
When something needs to be booked, ShoreReady takes you to the appropriate booking page and tells you when it’s worth buying. Some attractions sell out weeks ahead, while others are better booked closer to the day.
ShoreReady can remind you when it’s time.
Once booked, forward the confirmation to your private ShoreReady concierge address and the reservation can be added to the correct day of your itinerary automatically.
Is the concierge a human or AI?
It’s AI, with a very good briefing.
The ShoreReady concierge understands your itinerary, your preferences and the context of your port day. It can know which ship you’re sailing on, who you’re travelling with, where you are in your itinerary and what’s supposed to happen next.
It also draws on ShoreReady’s port data and recent traveller information.
Ask a normal question like “We’re exhausted, what can we skip?” or “Where can we eat nearby without losing an hour?” and get an answer designed around your actual day, rather than a page of search results.
Do I have to pay a subscription?
No.
A Voyage Pass covers a single sailing from start to finish, with nothing to remember to cancel afterwards.
If you cruise several times a year, ShoreReady also offers a subscription that can work out cheaper.
Does ShoreReady still work if I’ve already visited some of the ports?
Absolutely. In fact, that makes the planning more interesting.
Tell ShoreReady what you’ve already seen and it can skip the obvious first-timer stops and look for something different.
Over multiple sailings, ShoreReady can remember the places you’ve visited and the kinds of experiences you enjoyed, helping each new trip feel different from the last.
No need to see the same cathedral for the fourth time. Unless you really love cathedrals.
